Fallen angels walter dean5/19/2023 ![]() He is an excellent writer, and very popular with both teens and teachers. Since then we have bought all this author's work. Fallen Angels describes the past and current demolishing of futures. Since graduating from high school, Perry has been feeling uncertain about what he wants to do with his life. The novel follows the journey of seventeen-year-old Richie Perry, an African American private from New York City. ![]() It was right up both their alleys, and they needed no persuasion to get back to it every evening. Fallen Angels takes place in 1968, against the backdrop of the Vietnam War. His father and him took turns reading it aloud, substituting the word 'blank' for the swear words. We follow him through his tour of duty in Vietnam and, apart from sex which Myers manages to side step, we get everything an adult novel of the same genre would include. The story centers around Richie Perry, who joins the army to get away from home.
